Madi Kilambu – A Rapid Assessment of Perceptions: Part 1

How can communities prepare for climate change?

This RAP was conducted as part of a climate change resilience project initiated by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in 2010. This Rapid Assessment aimed to document community perceptions of local environmental issues, climate change and conservation farming. This would then inform project design and facilitators guides, as well as providing the baseline for project evaluation.

This RAP contains a detailed description of the methods of data collection, the findings of the assessment, as well as the recommendations for future development activities. It also contains a facilitators guide for those interested in conducting similar rapid assessments.
