Rainwater Harvesting Indonesia

Live & Learn's Rainwater Harvesting Project is coming to an end. The project has seen the installation of new rainwater tanks in five different schools in Lombok, providing clean drinking water to around one thousand people.

Tugeda, Tude fo Tumoro

Since 2009, the 'Tugeda Tude fo Tumoro' project has worked to engage women and men from 32 communities across four Solomon Island provinces impacted by logging, to contribute towards more inclusive and environmentally sustainable communities.

Live & Learn Environmental Education is a non-profit, non-government organisation which promotes greater understanding and action toward human and environmental sustainability through education and dialogue building.

Forest and Natural Resources Learning Circle Module

"Talking about Forests and Natural Resources in Vanuatu" is part of the Forest Toolkit developed by Live & Learn. It includes a DVD, poster, brochure and manual.

The toolkit aims to develop the capacity of the community leaders to make decisions that show an understanding of the rights of all the community memebrs for today and in the future.

The materials that have been produced are to educate and help community leaders, community members, teachers and students to understand the value of natural resources and investigate alternative ways to generate income by using the forest and land in a sustainable way.

This manual has been produced in Bislama.
