Educate. Advocate. Connect. Flipchart

How can we increase awareness of human rights of women and children?

This flipchart is designed for individuals and organisations training community members in small groups to be Human Rights Defenders in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. It uses strong imagery to encourage increased demand for protection of the rights of women and children exposed to exploitation and violence, and teaches conflict management, dialogue building, advocacy and human rights monitoring.

The flipchart pages contain images of community planning and activities, in order to prompt discussion, and information for facilitators on how to stimulate group discussion. It contains background information for the facilitator, discussion questions, and group activities. It also has tips on how to use the flipchart, and how to prepare for and run group sessions. The flipchart is best used with the ‘Educate. Advocate. Connect.’ manual.
