Tugeda, Tude fo Tumoro

Since 2009, the 'Tugeda Tude fo Tumoro' project has worked to engage women and men from 50 communities across five Solomon Island provinces impacted by logging, to contribute towards more inclusive and environmentally sustainable communities.

Live & Learn Environmental Education is a non-profit, non-government organisation which promotes greater understanding and action toward human and environmental sustainability through education and dialogue building.

This flipchart aims to help community members increase awareness of the human rights of women and children exposed to exploitation and violence in and around logging camps in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

The activities in this flipchart are designed to encourage discussion about issues relating to human rights violations, promote awareness and understanding of these issues, and develop skills in conflict management, dialogue building, advocacy and human rights monitoring and reporting.
