Tugeda, Tude fo Tumoro

Since 2009, the 'Tugeda Tude fo Tumoro' project has worked to engage women and men from 50 communities across five Solomon Island provinces impacted by logging, to contribute towards more inclusive and environmentally sustainable communities.

Children and Peace Building

Discrimination against children in Western Pacific society reduces opportunities for children to have meaningful participation in their communities. Live & Learn has established a children’s peace network to build peaceful and inclusive societies.

WASH - West New Britain, PNG

Improved Health for the people of West New Britain through the provision of improved access to safe water supply, improved hygiene and Sanitation facilities

We are targeting 6 communities with a combined population of approximately 15000 people.

Currently we have completed construction work on water supply and sanitation infrastructures for 3 communities which began in February 2011. We are now working on 1 more community and have completed feasibility survey for an additional 4 communities. We are hoping by the end of the year we would have exceeded our target of 6 communities by either three (3) or four (4) communities.
